Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

The prize is a Family Day Ticket (2 adults plus 2 children) to Hopetoun House in South Queensferry, plus lunch to the total value of £60 in the Stables Restaurant. 

The prize winner must check opening hours and the prize (including the lunch) must be redeemed in the summer season which finishes on Sunday 29th September 2024. The prize cannot be transferred to a later date. 

Hopetoun House will provide all the details for your prize and any additional terms and conditions directly.

The prize draw is open only to UK, CI, IoM and RoI residents aged 18 or over excluding any employees of Forth Bridges Forum and its members and their families or anyone professionally connected with this promotion.

No purchase necessary. A submission of a 60 second video or 60 words into 60 Years in 60 Moments allows one entry. Written entries of less than 60 words or videos of less than 60 seconds will not qualify for the prize draw. Written entries of more than 90 words or videos of more than 90 seconds will not qualify for the prize draw. 

One entry per person only (duplicate entries from persons of the same name will be disregarded). The deadline for entries is  11.59pm on 31 August 2024.

The prize will be drawn by random number generator. The winner will be contacted by email on 2 September 2024. The winner must accept within 48 hours, otherwise the prize will be re-drawn. 

The prize must be taken by 29 September 2024 and is not transferable. No cash alternative to the prize will be offered.

The promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with one of equal or greater value. The decision of the promoter is final and binding in all matters.

Participants' details will be held and may be used by the Promoter (The Forth Bridges Forum) and competition partners for marketing purposes.

By participating, entrants agree that the Promoter is not liable for lost, misdirected, damaged, stolen, illegible or late entries. The Promoter reserves the right to amend, alter or withdraw the promotion in whole or in part at any time during the promotion period.

By entering the promotion, the participant will be deemed to have read and understood the terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them. Instructions relating to this promotion form part of these terms and conditions.

The winning entry will be selected by The Forth Bridges Forum using a random number generator. The draw is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

The prize does not include access to Hopetoun events,  travel insurance, or any other meals or related expenses, except as stated. All travel, activities and accommodation are at the winner's risk. Transportation, taxes, fuel, additional meals, parking, drinks, gratuities, travel upgrades or any additional expenses are the responsibility of the winner.

The prize is also subject to the prize provider's standard terms and conditions. If the winner is unable to use the prize on the specified dates, the prize will be forfeited.
