Access RestrictionsScotland is hosting the UCI Cycling World Championships from 3rd-13th August 2023. There are many exciting events across Scotland including the Men Elite Road Race on Sunday 6th August which starts in Edinburgh at 930am, over the Queensferry Crossing into Fife (approximately 10am), then makes its way to Glasgow for an exciting finish in the city centre.
There will be road closures along the route which may disrupt your travel. This includes a short closure of the Queensferry Crossing.

Remember that regular cyclists are welcome to use the Forth Road Bridge to cross the Forth and enjoy the Forth Bridges Trail. Outside of this special event, there is no cyclist access to the Queensferry Crossing as this is a motorway.
