Dalmeny Station is your gateway to adventure.
From here, you can walk into South Queensferry to follow the trail, or take an epic train ride across The Forth Bridge to continue the trail in North Queensferry. There are great views over the Forth Bridge from the platform towards Fife.
You can also catch trains to explore Fife, Edinburgh and further afield. Live departure boards.
To explore the Forth Bridges Trail in South Queensferry:
Follow the path along the railway line until the steps over the old railway line. This is a gently sloping walk down into South Queensferry. There are various paths to the water and front, or, you can continue to the end and walk through the secluded woodland of Ferry Glen (situated between Dalmeny Station and High Street).
OR
Head more directly down the steep steps called Jacob’s Ladder which will bring you out behind the Hawes Inn.
You can also use ///what3words to guide you to the trail signs. The ///what3words reference is given on each trail stop page.
