Access RestrictionsThe iconic three bridges span the Firth of Forth. They link North Queensferry and South Queensferry, both of which are named after Margaret, Queen of Malcolm Canmore, who established a ferry across the Firth of Forth to carry pilgrims travelling to St Andrew’s and Dunfermline.
There's lots to see & do near the Forth Bridges.
With North Queensferry and Fife on the north coast and South Queensferry, Edinburgh and the Lothians on the south, there are plenty of activities and attractions. If you're visiting the bridges, why not extend your stay for a couple of days to explore, discover and enjoy this unique part of Scotland?
The area is rich in history and culture. And it’s not short of pretty villages, stunning coastal walks, and good old-fashioned Scottish hospitality.
